DAYTON CHAMPIONSHIPS BUS TIMES- UPDATE 1/30/08 Dayton Championships are February 16! The bus will be leaving Lakota East High school at 6:10 am. The meet starts at 9:50 am. Lakota East has never won a city championships before. Please come to cheer on the Thunderhawks as they attempt to make Lakota East history!!

CROSSTOWN FLIPOUT- UPDATE 1/30/08 The Lakota East Gymnastics team is hosting the Crosstown Flipout on Thursday, January 31 in the upper gym. The meet starts at 6 pm. Please come cheer on the team as they try to continue their undefeated season! If anyone would like to help set up the gym before the meet please come at 3:00 pm. We could use all the help we can get!

LAKOTA EAST INVITATIONAL- UPDATE 1/30/08 The Lakota East Gymnastics team tied for first place at the Lakota East Invitational. This is the first time in Thunderhawk history that the team won its home invitational. Here are the team highlights and standings:

INDIAN CUP- The Lakota East Gymnastics team proved they are one of the top programs in the district this past weekend, winning the prestigious Indian Cup tournament. The lineup of schools participating in the meet held at Cincinnati Country Day included top district contenders Mason, Northmont and Centerville. “We had no idea what to expect,” said East coach Margi Sammons. “ Being able to perform under the pressure of competing against such a competitive field of teams shows us that we have what it takes to be in the top of the district.” Here are the team highlights and standings:
